Our Care and Services
How We Provide CareWe have nurses on duty 24 hours a day, and our medical director is always on call. We provide rehabilitation services six days a week—or more often if ordered by a physician. Our interdisciplinary team of professionals—nurses, rehabilitation therapists, dietitian, social worker, activities director, and others—determines the care each resident needs and how to provide it. Our residents play an important role in planning their care, too. We work with our short-term rehabilitation patients to set reasonable recovery goals, based on their specific medical condition and personal needs. Our focus is on helping them become more knowledgeable about their condition, more actively involved in their own healthcare, and more independent in performing daily activities. For extended-stay residents, we provide skilled nursing services and assistance with the activities of daily living. We’ve created a caring, safe, and supportive environment and offer a diverse and engaging lineup of social and recreational activities. Our goal is to foster a sense of family, connection, and community. Programs and Services Pinebrook offers a wide variety of healthcare programs and services. I've been a nurse for 35 years and I've worked in nursing homes, so I know how difficult and frustrating the job can be at times. I have seen nothing but caring, loving staff who smile, are courteous to both patients and families, and treat patients with dignity. Thank you for all the little acts of kindness and all the ways you bring joy to the life of your patients." Sister of a resident "Thank you for being so caring on my stay there. My bed and room were clean and neat. That made me feel good. Also, for all the help I received, many things." A former patient "Everyone has been so kind to me. You make me feel like I have a large extended family here at Pinebrook, and that has helped me during this very difficult time." Daughter of a resident "It has been one year since my mother came to live at Pinebrook. In looking back at those confusing first days-both for her and my family-I cannot help but think of how gracious and kind your entire staff was to my Dad, my son, me, and most of all my Mother. I wish to thank you…for always being there to answer our questions and allay our fears. The dining room staff as well as all the CNAs who I have known and grown to love and respect during this year are truly a reflection of the quality of care that your facility prides itself on." Daughter of a resident "A note of sincere thanks to all of the healthcare professionals at Pinebrook Rehab Nursing Center for taking such wonderful care of my husband during his stay there. Their sensitivity to his condition and needs, and their dedication to providing the highest quality of care is something of which they should be very proud." Notice appearing in The Venice Gondolier (local newspaper) from the wife of a long-term resident "It is very hard for people to make changes and these changes for mom are overwhelming, but you have helped her feel safe and secure, we thank you for that and more.… We really appreciate the care my mother is receiving…and the help you have provided to make her stay very special. Thank you for your time, your caring, and your help. The staff is wonderful, from the people helping mom in therapy to the laundry lady...." Son and daughter-in-law of a resident |
